Delicious food. Fast service. Good price. Great portions.

Seriously, what more could you want?

I go to Richmond Centre often, and I've tried every restaurant in the entire food court. Some are bad. Others are better. But Kung Pao Wok is the best. No matter what you order, you simply can't go wrong.

But don't take my word for it. Let's just say that there's a good reason why this place has the longest lines in the food court. Their food is simply scrumptious!

I've noticed that a lot of food court places overcook their chicken, and when they do, it's not pretty. You basically get stuck with this hard, rubbery chicken that tastes like soggy rubberbands. But at Kung Pao Wok, their meat is always moist and flavourful. I usually alternate between the Spicy Chicken and the Kung Pao Chicken (my two favourites) and you honestly can't go wrong with either one. Their rice noodles have a nice, slippery consistency. And the rice and chow mein are nicely done as well. Their mixed vegetables are fresh, with large portions of broccoli and green beans (yum!) and no MSG added.

Service is always speedy and friendly, which is especially important when you hit the food court during the busy lunch times hours.

If you don't mind having your meal a bit later in the evening,  you can get the 2 items + rice/ noodles combo for a few dollars off the regular price (just go an hour before the mall closes). This practice just makes good sense, business wise. I would never even have tried Kung Pao Wok if hadn't been for the closing special. But once I tried their food, I was hooked! (I wish other food court vendors would follow Kung Pao Wok's example. Having closing specials is a win-win for both customers and vendors alike).

Definitely give Kung Pao Wok a try the next time you're at Richmond Centre!

Something definitely changed in this location.  The food is just not the same.  Their famous Sesame chicken is now served dry with a runny sauce on top. Sweet and sour pork is just sweet and not sour. So disappointed.  The food here used to be so good.

I found my new favourite Chinese fix spot in Richmond BC. I ordered the 2 item; rice noodle with beef brisket and sesame chicken. My fiancée ordered the rice noodle with BBQ chicken and steak. OMG the beef brisket was soft and the rice noodle was cooked well. I love it that they don't add much onion in their rice noodle compared to other places. It exceeded my expectations for sure, because I don't expect much from Chinese fast food spots. It's cheap, two burgers would cost you more and make you fat faster. I will be a regular for sure.

Ordered the BBQ pork, vegetables, and noodle combo for just under $10. BBQ pork was similar to what you would get at T&T, vegetables were fresh (broccoli was crunchy - the way I like it), and noodles were okay. Compared to other options in the mall it was a good value not to mention they were fast (11:30 on a Saturday) and friendly. I am going to go back and try some of their other offerings Reviewers have suggested.

This place is great if you like unsalted soggy noodle, over breaded chicken and overcooked broccoli.

For me, I will never return. It is possibly the worst thing a $10 could get me.
